In its 11th year, the Oak Clif Film Festival has established itself as a signifcant city-wide event, featuring the best of Oak Clif’s theatre and art venues, restaurants, bars, and small businesses. OCFF showcases brave and independent flmmaking of all stripes in an atmosphere that encourages and fosters flmmaking in Dallas and beyond.
The Oak Clif Film Festival was established in 2011 as a regional flm festival in the Oak Clif area of Dallas, Texas. The festival is a program of the Oak Clif Film Society.
The Oak Clif Film Society is a 501 (c)3 nonproft organization dedicated to discovering independent and archival flms and sharing them with new audiences via screenings and educational programs. OCFS is committed to cultivating the flm community in and promoting the Dallas neighborhood of Oak Clif by inspiring flmmakers, audiences and artists. The Oak Clif Film Society strives to utilize historic theaters and venues whenever possible for its annual Oak Clif Film Festival Program.
